The Prince of Wales has been spotted at the wedding of his ex-girlfriend this weekend.

Prince William, 40, was pictured wearing a black tuxedo and matching bowtie as he went to watch Rose Farquhar, 39, tie the knot with George Gemmell.

Rose, who is understood to be William’s first serious girlfriend, dated the future King back in 2000 when he was 18.

They are said to have first met as children before reuniting at the Beaufort Polo Club in Gloucestershire after Wills finished his A-levels at Eton.

The dad-of-three is said to have gone on to date a number of women, including Carly Massy-Birch and Arabella Musgrave, before settling down with wife Kate Middleton.

Despite their romance not working out, William and Rose have remained friends and regularly see each other at society weddings.

Rose wore a traditional white dress and fur shoulder cape at St Mary the Virgin church in Gloucestershire on Saturday.

The bride faced trouble when her wedding car broke down, but she managed to make it to the chapel on time in an Audi.

William’s outing came in the wake of his brother the Duke of Sussex’s controversial Netflix documentary.

Another of William’s rumoured ex-flames, Olivia Hunt, attended the wedding with her barrister husband Nicholas Wilkinson.

The Princess of Wales’ university boyfriend, lawyer Rupert Finch, was there with wife Natasha Rufus Issacs, while Prince Harry’s former ‘wingman’ Tom Inskip also showed up.

After dating William, Rose studied acting at the Lee Strasberg Institute in New York.

Known for her love of singing, she tried out for The Voice back in 2016, but failed to make it past the audition stage.

She currently works for the Duchess of Rutland’s Belvoir Castle in a business development role.

Her father Captain Ian Farquhar is a former equerry to the Queen Mother and ex-Master of the Beaufort Hunt.

Her new husband George is currently studying to become a vet and has been described by Captain Farquhar as ‘the most charming son-in-law’.

George is the stepson of Barbadian construction tycoon Sir Charles Williams, who passed away last year.
