Elias Torres helps Long Beach Poly beat Calabasas to win St. Paul Tournament

SANTA FE SPRINGS — Elias Torres really wanted to finish what he started.

“Yeah, there was a little expression on my face there at the end,” the Long Beach Poly High senior said.

But after he gave up a two-run double to right field to Phoenix Call and then hit Chase Call with a pitch, he was removed after 6 2/3 gritty innings.
