Woman found shot to death in Valinda

A woman was found shot to death in Valinda on Saturday afternoon, Jan. 12, authorities said.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department homicide detectives went to the 1300 block of Glenshaw Drive just before 1 p.m. to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of the woman, Deputy Armando Viera Jr. said.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene in Valinda, a community near La Puente.

No further details were immediately available.
