Canadian Damian Warner claims gold medal in season-ending Decastar

BORDEAUX, France — Canadian Olympic medallist Damian Warner added to his trophy case Sunday, winning gold in decathlon at the season-ending Decastar.

The London, Ont., native scored 8,252 points en route to clinching his second victory of the season.

Kai Kazmirek of Germany won silver with 8,020 points and Oleksiy Kasynova took third place with 8,016.
